Elegance and stature were the inspiration our Master Jewellers used in the creation of this magnificent tribute. A classic men's ring style plays host to an array of Vietnam War icons that begin with gleaming 24-carat gold hand-applied to the ring. Each shank side features a finely cast rendering of the famous Iroquois "Huey" chopper, an enduring symbol of the conflict. The aircraft is uplifted by a laurel wreath, which has been the hero's symbol since ancient times. One side is cast with "1962," the other with "1972," the years of Australia's involvement in the war.
Both sides support the ring cap, which showcases a dramatic scene of two soldiers in-country. Vigilant, steadfast and unyielding, they embody the Vietnam digger. The set stands against a rising sun motif with a banner proudly proclaiming "Veterans Remembered." The shimmering 24-carat gold-plated scene rises majestically from a bed of pure, black onyx, a gem that has had special significance to the warrior for thousands of years (please see the back page).
